The Librarian
My name is Evernever, and I've been telling stories since I was six years old. The medium has changed over the years (notebooks, documents, forums, and now character cards) but the impulse remains the same: to create someone who feels real enough to matter.
I started crafting characters at the end of 2024, arriving with decades of storytelling instinct and a growing frustration. Too many cards felt hollow. The experience was limited not by the technology, but by the craft behind it. So I made it my mission to build characters with depth engineered into their bones. Intricate systems, layered personalities, the kind of details that reward attention without demanding it.
I'm based in Germany, working in the quiet hours, letting ideas unspool onto the screen until a character starts breathing on their own. That initial act of creation, watching someone emerge from nothing, is the part I love most. Perhaps too much. I hold each of my characters close, probably closer than I should.
But the real magic happens on your end. Someone spent their New Year's Eve with one of my characters. Someone else wrote to tell me a conversation made them feel special for the first time in a long while. Those moments are why I do this. Not for numbers or recognition, but for the chance that something I made might matter to someone I'll never meet. If my work has been helpful, entertaining, or meaningful to you in any way, that's enough. That's everything.
